Residence for family members of an EU citizens

If you have ancestors or descendants, a spouse, registered partner of a citizen or national member of any country of the European Union, you can apply for an initial Residence Permit in Spain for up to five years .

Additionally, as a family member, you will be protected by the legal regime that applies to nationals of EU member states.
