Nationality by Residence

It is possible to obtain your Spanish passport , known as one of the most powerful in the world, which grants the right to freedom of movement and work within the Schengen Area, provided you can prove continuous residence in the following cases:

• 2 years of residence in Spain - if your current nationality is that of a Latin American country ; Andorra, the Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, or Portugal.
• 1 year : if you were born in Spanish territory, have Spanish parents, or have married a Spanish citizen.
• 5 years – with refugee status.
